Interior Designers
We all want our homes to be a comfortable place that we can relax and enjoy. Some of us may struggle to bring together ideas and concepts to create a style with which we are happy. This is where an interior designer can help. Their services can be invaluable in creating your ‘perfect’ pad.
The role of an interior designer is to research and analyse their clients requirements, and develop designs and drawings to meet those needs. In consultation with their client they must confirm that their designs are considered safe, functional and aesthetically pleasing. In addition all plans and designs must meet legal fire, health and safety, public health and environmental regulations. The interior designer will help select and specify the furniture, fixtures and fittings that fit the agreed design concept.
Part of the designers role is to develop a contract that will facilitate pricing, procurement and installation of furniture, and to act as project manager to co-ordinate schedules and budgets in collaboration with allied professionals involved in the project. In addition they should act as the clients agent in negotiating bids and contracts.
The Interior Designer will stick with the job from start to finish to ensure that you end up with a space that fits your lifestyle needs.
